Kristina Cheeseman is more than just a stylist—she is an award-winning hair artist. With her indisputable talent and a following of loyal clients, Kristina opened her own hair salon and wanted a visual identity that aligned with her ideology.
RESEARCH
When asked what kind of personality she wanted to portray through her branding, Kristina spoke about things that have influenced her life and style: psychedelic art, female empowerment and feeling beautiful on the inside and out. It was such a strong foundation that they became the pillars of her entire brand: unity, empowerment, self-expression, and kindness.

VISUAL ID
A wide range of bright colors and holographic patterns were chosen to symbolize the individuality of each client and tie into the psychedelic style. The fonts, a mix of serif, sans serifs and display fonts, were chosen to be expressive, confident and approachable.
Layered photography allows everyone to find a little bit of themselves in it, whether it’s through the lens of their past, present or future hopes and desires.
